ChordStreak Privacy Policy
Effective 26 October 2026
In short: ChordStreak doesn't collect, store or share any of your personal data. Everything the app does happens on your device, and nothing is sent to us or anyone else.
Who we are
ChordStreak is made by Gerome Braddock (Braddock Industries). This policy covers the ChordStreak app on iPhone, iPad and Mac.
The microphone
ChordStreak asks to use your microphone so it can hear the notes you play on your piano and check them against the music. The sound is analysed on your device as you play and then thrown away. It is never uploaded.
If you turn on the optional recording setting, ChordStreak saves the audio and a log of each piece in its own Recordings folder on your device, which you can see in the Files app. Those files stay on your device. You can delete them at any time, and they're removed if you delete the app.
Bluetooth and MIDI keyboards
ChordStreak uses Bluetooth only to connect to a MIDI keyboard you choose. The notes from your keyboard are used for the game and are not stored or sent anywhere.
Your progress and settings
Your scores, progress and settings are saved on your device so the app remembers them. They aren't sent to us. If you use iCloud or device backups, Apple may include them in your backup under Apple's privacy policy.
What we don't do
ChordStreak has no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no third-party services that collect data. It doesn't connect to the internet.
Children
Because ChordStreak collects no personal information, it collects none from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
